Who I Am
My name is Rita Lorraine Parks, but you can call me Lorraine :) I am an opera-singer-turned-MUA and have been in love with makeup since I was a young girl. When I was 12, I walked into my first Sephora to see my God-sister get her makeup done for her wedding later that day, and I will never forget how radiant she looked! How beautiful she felt! That day, a makeup artist was born. I knew that one day, I wanted to do for other women what that artist did for her.
My Style
I would describe my style as catered-to-you. What does that mean? Any look you request reflects your individual style and mood-minimal, bold, edgy, romantic, you name it!
Location
I am located in Northern AL, just 20 North of Huntsville, but travel all over Alabama. Huntsville and Birmingham in particular offer lovely scenery in the Spring, Summer and Fall seasons that all my couples enjoy. While I love local weddings, I love traveling even more! I enjoy seeing all the beautiful scenery of this country and experiencing that with my brides.
My Mission
I believe that the Lord has blessed me with the gift of makeup precisely so that I may help His daughters see themselves the way He sees them: wonderfully made and altogether lovely!
