Policies for booking Rita Lorraine

Booking

To secure a date, a signed contract with 25% of the total cost as a deposit is required. The deposit is non refundable and non transferable. Your date is not secured until both the signed contract and the deposit are received.*

Deposits are completed via invoice through Maroo.

 

Please be advised that the max amount of people that I can realistically do by myself is 9(Nine). If the number of persons requesting makeup services exceeds this amount, I may require the help of an assistant. If an assistant is required, a fee of $150 for a secondary artist will apply.

 

*If booking for a lesson, a deposit is not required. 

Payments

The final balance is due one week(7 days) before the event as one payment – no exceptions. The person(s) responsible for the entire balance of payment is the person(s) who has signed the booking contract. The final balance will be invoiced via Maroo. If you wish to leave a tip, acceptable forms of payment are: cash, Venmo(@Rita_Lorraine_Parks), and Cash App($RitaLorraineParks).

Travel

A travel fee may be incurred based on the event location. For local weddings-i.e. Weddings taking place IN Madison and Limestone counties in AL, or Lincoln and Giles counties in TN- Client will be charged $0.65 per mile. For out of town weddings-i.e. Weddings taking place OUTSIDE Madison and Limestone counties in AL, or Lincoln and Giles counties in TN- 30 miles roundtrip will be included in travel; Client will be charged $0.65 per mile above 30 mile inclusion.

All costs for travel are to be paid by client.  Costs may include, but are not limited to: airfare, hotel, transportation, parking, per diem, service incidentals and all taxes*.

Cancellation

Weddings: cancellations are to be made no later than 60 calander days prior to the wedding date. If a cancellation is made less than the given time frame prior to your date, the client will be responsible for the remaining 75% of the total negotiated in the contract

Special event/Photo Shoot: cancellations are to be made within 7 calendar days of the booking date. If a cancellation is made less than 7 calendar days prior to booking date, a fee of 50% of the total amount will apply. Cancellations made last-minute(i.e. 24 hours before booking date) will result in a charge of 75% of the total amount.

Trials: cancellations are to be made within 7 days of the trial date. Cancellations made less than 7 days prior will result in a cancellation fee of $30 will apply. Last-minute(i.e. 24 hours before trial date) cancellations will result in a cancellation fee of $50.

Lessons: cancellations must be made within 7 days of lesson date. Cancellations made less than 7 days prior will result in a fee of 25% of the total. Last minute(i.e. 24 hours before trial date) cancellations will result in fee of 75% of the total.

Contract

A contract will be signed by the person booking services for a particular session, and will specify the location, date, time, number of persons receiving makeup service, and what time each person will have reserved. If services for more than one person are being booked, all deposits must be paid at the time of contract signing to guarantee each reservation. Due to the possibility of schedule conflicts, additional makeup added after contract signing or changes made to the location, date, and time of event will be done at the sole discretion of Rita Lorraine Parks. This contract is the only agreement between the person(s) booking / contracting the services of Rita Lorraine Parks of Rita Lorraine Makeup.

Delays

A late fee of $15 will be charged for every 15 minutes a client is late for their scheduled time, or if the makeup application exceeds allotted time due to delays caused by the client. Contract will state the times late fees will begin and the amount charged and will be initialed and approved by client.

Liability

All brushes, tools and makeup products are kept sanitary and are sanitized between every makeup application. Makeup products used are hypoallergenic.  Any skin condition and/or allergy should be reported by the client to the makeup artist in writing prior to application and, if need be, a sample test of makeup may be performed on the skin to test reaction. Client(s) agree to release the makeup artist, Rita Lorraine Makeup, its owners, and all employees and agents from liability for any skin complications due to allergic reactions.
